Our research interests span plant ecology, K-16 biology education, agroecology, and community science. This website is currently under construction.

Teaching

I strive to scaffold authentic science experiences in each of my courses and work to support an accessible and inclusive learning environment for all learners.

Research

Most of my research activities are in biology education, with a primary focus on computer-based
instruction/assessment in higher education.

Service

My outreach, volunteer, and other service activities fall across four major areas: Equity and Inclusion; Student Success; Faculty Support; and Scholarly Engagement.

Consulting

I provide consulting services in STEM educational research, science curriculum, and instructional and assessment technology.

Children’s Books

My first book, A Mouse in my House!, was self-published in 2020 (20 years after I began it!). More recently, I self-published Sunday Punday! I have also advised on other children’s books.
